Welcome to the Kersley family home page.

I was born in Sheffield, at the beginning of World War Two and spent my school years there, when I was eighteen I went into Military Service and retired from there in the mid eighties.

It was during my military service that I became interested in Family History, because I was told that my Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather had all been in the Army and so there the tale begins.

I now live in the Market Town of Easingwold in rural North Yorkshire.
