Dorset Noggin Reports

11th April 1997

We had our FIRST resurrected DORSET NOGGIN on Friday 11th April 1997. It was attended by 8 members and 5 cars - SE6(V8)x1, SE5ax2, SS1x2. All generally looking shiny after rebuilds or modifications. After a lot of hand shakes and heads buried under bonnets we evenually had a "pint & crisps" in our new home (Bakers Arms).
We discussed several topics and some ideas for this year are :-

I appear to have missed, for various reasons, the last couple of deadlines for SLICE inclusions. So what have we been doing since our last report. We have increased in numbers and generally there are approximately a dozen die hards who always attend our monthly meetings. THANK YOU FOR TURNING UP!!!!!

As a group we have shown the flag on two occasions, in September at the Wessex Classic Car Show (see photo). I believe our barbecue has to be the best the Club has ever seen!
In December we had our Christmas Dinner which everyone agreed was very good value for the quality and quantity of food devoured. Well done the Bakers Arms.
At our January meeting we discussed our battle plans for the year ahead, and I will produce a local FLYER as often as is required.
