IUA provides a focal point for readers of The URANTIA Book around the world to share ideas and combine resources. In this way may individuals contribute towards the effective dissemination of the book and its teachings. IUA encourages new members and will review applications from individuals who have read The URANTIA Book. IUA supports the steady spread of the teachings without encumbering them with church, temple or other religious institutions. It does this by employing undramatic and everyday means including:

• Encouraging placement of books in libraries.
• Assisting URANTIA Foundation in its participation in national and international book fairs. Encouraging mainstream bookshops to stock the book.
• Fostering local, autonomous and informal study groups.
• Maintaining a readership network designed to facilitate contact between readers if they wish.
• Organizing annual conferences for social fraternity and study of the book.
• Publishing newsletters, which enables readers to share thoughts and inspirations and to bring news of events throughout the world.
• Devise means and ways to contribute towards the effective dissemination of the book and its teachings.
